Can I use the Six Feet Under Barricade indoors?

While the ingredients are safe for use with animals and children, there are a few reasons why we don't recommend the Barrier for indoor use:

The battery-powered sprayer of Six Feet Under Barricade has a higher output strength compared to our traditional Six Feet Under trigger sprayer and could result in overspray if used inside.
Engineered to endure the elements for up to 90 days, the Barricade’s initial scent intensity may prove overwhelming for indoor environments and could require some time to dissipate.
The intensity of this product's concentration results in a dark color. This color may stain walls and floors it is applied to, indoors.

For indoor application, we highly recommend our Six Feet Under spray instead of Six Feet Under Barricade.

Does Six Feet Under Barricade kill bugs on contact?

Yes! Six Feet Under Barricade acts as both a kill-on-contact spray, as well as a residual deterrent against bugs coming into your home.

The residue will both repel insects, as well as kill any that push past their dislike of it, and come in direct contact with the product.

Depending on the insect, this may happen immediately, or it may take a few minutes to a few hours, but the result is the same - the insect that encounters the Barrier has encountered their end.

How many square feet will one Barricade application cover?

We included enough of the formula in one application to cover most standard homes - up to 2,500 square feet.

If you need more than this, you can order a second refill bottle.

Why can't I use tap water with Barricade?

There are contaminants found in tap water that can negatively affect the ingredients in the concentrate. Depending on where you live, and what is in your tap water, your Barricade application will either be less effective, or completely ineffective.

We recommend using distilled, purified, filtered or deionized water to dilute and apply this product.

What is the shelf life of the Six Feet Under Barricade?

Dr Killigan's Six Feet Under Barricade will last up to 2 years, if stored correctly. This includes both the concentrate and any prepared solution. Simply ensure that the container is sealed tightly, and is stored in a cool dark place out of direct sunlight.

How do I avoid staining clothes and surfaces?

To see if your surface will be stained by the Six Feet Under Barrier, apply a test spot in an inconspicuous area.

As with any home improvement project, we do not recommend applying this product in your favorite outfit. This concentrate is oil-based; should contact occur, we recommend you use a spot treatment effective on oil, as this will be the most effective solution.

We have not experienced staining on outside surfaces during our testing however, it’s possible that you have a material on your home we have not tested on. Please use your best judgment after the spot test.

We recommend you use care when applying the product in order to avoid accidental overspray or product waste.
