Does Six Feet Under Insect Spray work as a preventative measure or repellent?

Six Feet Under is both a kill-on-contact spray with rapid bug-killing power and a preventative solution with a residual component, best used on porous surfaces to kill insects that come into contact with the formula for up to 30 days. We recommend spraying a fine mist as a barrier around areas that insects are using to get into your home or where there is visible insect traffic- most commonly baseboards, the perimeter of your home, in pantry cracks and crevices, etc. Six Feet Under should not be used as a bug repellent.

How long does the Sweet Surrender attractant last?

Sweet Surrender Fruit Fly Trap Liquid Refill provides eight 2 oz. doses of attractant, with up to 6 weeks of coverage per dose. Various factors such as heat, air flow and light exposure can affect the longevity of the attractant. In its original container, the Sweet Surrender formula will last up to two years when it is stored properly. We recommend storing in the original, tightly closed container in a cool, dark place.

Where do I place The Fly Inn?

Proper trap placement is the key to your success. You want to capitalize on the fact that flies are attracted to light, by placing these traps on windows or glass doors. These traps will not yield the results you desire with placement on other locations such as refrigerators, doors or walls. These traps work best at the bottom edge of the glass because the top of the trap has the largest opening for insects to enter. Clean the glass so that the plastic housing suction cups will stick well, wet the suction cups for max suction and adhere to a window or glass door. Then place the sticky trap insert inside the housing. Choose windows that seem to be high traffic or "popular hangouts" for bugs. There are usually at least two windows in a home that seem to attract bugs more than others. Place your traps on these windows. Proceed to catch flies and other bugs.
